Adventure Rock now offers a program geared specifically towards High School Students. Currently, the program accommodates ten high school teams, over 150 students and grows by approximately three teams each year! A climbing team is a MUST at every High School!
What to Expect
- Students will be taught all the necessary skills to utilize the facility properly. (knot tying, belaying, basic climbing technique)
- Each team conducts a predetermined two hour weekly practice.
- Six competitions are held throughout the year. Prizes are awarded at each competition.
- Clinics are offered at an additional cost to students interested in learning more advanced climbing techniques.
Memberships
- 1st Semester (Oct. 1st – Jan. 31st) – With Rental Gear-$170 or 42.50/month-Without Rental Gear-$140 or $35/month
- 2nd Semester (Feb. 1st – May 31st) – With Rental Gear-$170 or 42.50/month-Without Rental Gear-$140 or $35/month
- Summer (June 1st – Sept. 31st) – With Rental Gear-$170 or 42.50/month-Without Rental Gear-$140 or $35/month
- Annual – With Rental Gear-$450 or 37.50/month-Without Rental Gear-$390 or $32.50/month
Climbing Competitions
High School Climbing Competitions are a fun way for team members to meet climbers from other schools and show off their skills. Each comp has a little different focus and helps team members develop different skills. These comps are open to climbing teams from all over the state. For non-Adventure Rock team members their is a $15 fee per comp. Comp fees are included for Adventure Rock team members.
First Semester Dates:
- November 16th-6:00pm-9:00pm
- December 14th-6:00pm-9:00pm
- January 11th-6:00pm-9:00pm
Second Semester Dates:
- March 15th-6:00pm-9:00pm
- April 19th-6:00pm-9:00pm
- State Finals-May 17th-6:00pm-9:00pm (Climbers must participate in one other HS comp to qualify for state)
